3.3 Configuration

after the first login, please go to the IVAN™ Config what you can find on the left menue bar in section Admin:

General Settings

• default language: default language when a user first time log into the system.
  
  
• max. linecount: max. linecount on lists.
  
  
• max linecount for statistics: max linecount for statistics lists.
  
  
• lenght of digits into the IVAN context: when a call comes to the [ivan] context inside /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf all dialed number will be accepted, the value you set here will tell the system how many digits will be count for the main number, all digits that are behind this value are handled as more extension is there a more extension configured, the service of the more extension will be used, if NO more extension is configured, the extension of the main number will be used and the configured service for this main number will be choosen.
  
  
• dial over this peer: set the trunk you like to use when calls will be forward to external numbers.
  If you need to add a prefix you can do all the settings here. You can configure SIP Trunks when you go on the left menue to SIP Peers, inside the Asterisk section. Please finish with a /
  Example: SIP/<peer>/
  Example: IAX2/<peer>/

• The context for outbound: if you have a context for your outbound calls please insert the context.
  
  
• path to text2speech Swift (Capstral): please insert the path to the installed voices of Swift.
  
  
• ZaKoVoIP Settings: insert your account information from your ZaKoVoIP account, with ZaKoVoIP you are able to make outdials with good quality and fair prices, you can setup outdial Trunks automaticaly if you have an account.
  Please register inside IVAN™ all registration that are made trough IVAN™ will have special pricees with billing increments of 1/1
  
  
• Asterisk Manager Settings: If you want to handle all your SIP and IAX2 peers inside the IVAN™ GUI, please activate the Asterisk Manager Interface, the values must exist inside: /etc/asterisk/manager.conf if your installation is done with the LiveCD of asterLive, all the settings are already done.
  Example of /etc/asterisk/manager.conf:

• Email settings of your outgoing mailserver: please insert the settings you want to use for your outgoing mail server (smtp).

The demo application install a SIP Peer with username and password ivan, if you connect with a SIP phone to IVAN™ with the predefine settings, you can start to test IVAN™ immediately.
